Oracle will be adding a new generative AI-powered developer assistant to its Fusion Data Intelligence service, which is part of the company’s Fusion Cloud Applications Suite, the company said at its CloudWorld 2024 event.
Fusion Data Intelligence, which is an updated avatar of Fusion Analytics Warehouse, combines enterprise data, and ready-to-use analytics along with prebuilt AI and machine learning models to deliver business intelligence.
The generative AI-powered developer assistant will help developers streamline the configuration of the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence service and accelerate the addition of third-party data sources through a guided, step-by-step process, the company said.
Other updates to Fusion Data Intelligence include new AI-based intelligent applications for Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) that go beyond traditional analytics and recommend actions to users in critical day-to-day workstreams.
Oracle Cloud HCM gets the intelligent application, People Leader Workbench, to enable enterprises to achieve business and financial goals by helping the C-suite leaders adapt talent strategies to changing business needs.
Oracle Cloud SCM received an intelligent application called Supply Chain Command Center, the company said, adding that the tool will help enterprises respond to changing demand, supply, and market conditions by recommending intelligent actions across the supply chain network.
Fusion Data Intelligence can also help enterprises with day-to-day operational reporting operations by providing a single view of both predictive and transactional information, the company said.
Additionally, Oracle said Fusion Data Intelligence will drive new AI and machine learning features within Fusion Cloud Applications, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Fusion Cloud CX, and help enterprise teams make better decisions based on data analytics.
However, it didn’t divulge further details on these new AI and machine learning features.
