CIO UK has announced that it is now taking entries for the 2022 CIO 100 UK Awards. The CIO Awards recognises the best and brightest CIOs and technology leaders in the UK, celebrating their digital transformation achievements, and reflecting on themes and ideas which emerged from submissions.
The awards are open exclusively to IT leaders in the UK, with winners receiving an invitation to the live awards to celebrate peers, announcements as a 2022 winner via CIO marketing channels, as well as further exposure of their success through CIO.com.
CIO have also announced that the 2022 awards ceremony will be hosted in-person in a London location on Thursday 22nd September, after two years of being held virtually due to the pandemic. following two years running as a virtual event due to the global pandemic.
2021 winners included CIOs from Boots UK and Ireland, Utilia Energy Ltd, British Army, London School of Economics, Avant Homes, Cloudfm Group, Genting UK, Anthony Nolan, Natural History Museum, Nuffield, British Heart Foundation, Williams F1 and others. The number one ranking was awarded to Paul Fleming, Director of Digital and Business Change at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
The awards are respected by many senior IT leaders in the industry. “It is a great honor and privilege to be included on the CIO 100 list and be placed along side other leading technology evangelists.” said Graeme Howard, CTIO of Covéa Insurance. “It’s a fantastic accolade for the teams that work so hard to support the leaders in driving transformational change with such a well renowned industry award”.
Submissions can be made directly or on behalf of an individual. All entries are reviewed by an expert judging panel and winners announced at the live ceremony. CIO have also announced the launch of a new easy-to-use submissions platform, which now allows applicants to save and return back to their entry.
