The software and services an organization chooses to fuel the enterprise can make or break its overall success. And part of that success comes from investing in talented IT pros who have the skills necessary to work with your organization’s preferred technology platforms, from the database to the cloud.
Indeed’s 2024 Insights report analyzed the technology platforms most frequently listed in job ads on its site to uncover which tools, software, and programming languages are the most in-demand for job openings today. Indeed also examined resumes posted on its platform to see how many active candidates list these skills. While some in-demand skills have a larger talent pool to meet the demand, others have a much smaller talent pool to choose from, potentially increasing competition for that talent — and likely compensation as well.
Here are the 10 enterprise technology skills that are the most in-demand right now — and how stiff the competition may be based on the number of available candidates with resume skills listings to match.
